Eco Tekk is a furniture service company providing economic, environmental, and social value to our clients. We develop, manage and perform all labor related to new and used furniture decommission projects, including new furniture installation and existing furniture disassembly / reinstallation. Like many of the best in our industry, we handle all logistics related to furniture projects, including transportation, warehousing, delivery, and inventory management. We recognize the impact that unused furniture has on the environment, often ending up in landfills without ever hitting the secondary market. When implementing a green initiative, many companies focus on the future state of their work environment without considering what is left behind. We coordinate and execute the entire removal process, often working with charities and government organizations that help remove and redeploy furniture without incurring the costs of landfill. We review every piece available for removal and attempt to maximize value or mitigate costs with proven results. Our holistic and efficient approach to disposing of preowned furniture is done through these four methods:
We create furniture specifications for the reuse of purchased furniture for new space requirements. By directly linking buyer and seller we are able to generate significantly more revenue.
Targeted Wholesale Unlike traditional decommission strategies, utilize multiple used furniture brokers, avoiding the dilution of furniture value.
Donation We proudly partner with numerous charities, not-for-profits, and government organizations. Cost savings is derived from the reduction of transportation fees and the elimination of landfill disposal fees.
Social Programs We are the only decommissioning firm creating jobs for the developmentally disabled. We make direct contributions to organizations that house the developmentally disabled and create jobs for the residents. These organizations break the furniture down to scrap, recyclables, or resell it through their own retail outlet to provide a revenue stream.
