Position Title: Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator

Reporting to: General Manager

Location: Muskego, WI

Job Description

We’re looking for people who can fulfill orders accurately; inspect orders; ship the right product using the right method to our customers; receive inventory and stock shelves accurately with those same parts; and/or cycle count parts.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for completing material movement, and relevant internal and external communication to the customer. The Material Handler will act as a driving force in providing a proactive safety culture while providing quality services to exceed the expectations of our customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Respond to urgent requests and ensure completion of material movements based priority.
  • Communicate errors to ensure corrective actions are identified and implemented.
  • Complete the material movement activities in accordance with the established unloading, dock, put-away, picking, packing, loading processes to ensure customer expectations for deadlines are met.
  • Accurately and timely complete tasks assigned by the supervisor.
  • Recognize and abate hazards to drive and promote AW2’s safety program.
  • Report all near misses, safety incidents, accidents, and employee injuries per established procedures.

Quality:

  • Report customer complaints following the established reporting criteria.
  • Respond to customer escalations and complaints to quickly resolve service issues.
  • Responsible for participating in quality audits and complying with all established quality procedures.
  • Participate in physical inventory counting as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work while primarily standing, sitting and/or walking, dependent on the assigned role
  • Excellent attendance record and work occasional overtime

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of clerical experience, preferably in a warehouse setting.
  • 1-2 years of material handling equipment experience in at least one of the following: Reach Truck, Order Picker and/or forklift and the ability to be certified on all equipment.
  • Lead by example through maintaining a professional and positive attitude.
