Position Title: Customer Service Representative

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Part-time/Full-time: Full-time Location: Cudahy, WI

Cost Center: Ace Corporate Support – Admin 00 – CSR/Quality 17

Summary / Objective:

The Customer Service Representative is a crucial point of contact with both internal and external customers and the operation team. The CSR is responsible for complete communication with the customer as it relates to the relocation of their Household Goods or Special Products shipment in accordance with client specifications and management objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:

· Receives orders via email from national and residential accounts

· Calculates transportation rates meeting customer specifications using contract guidelines

· Communicates via email to clients; updating orders communicating transportation rates and schedules

· Enters registration of orders using software pertaining to moving and storage (Atlas)

· Is in constant communication with customer to ensure any potential changes and updating the system as needed

· Informs the dispatch team with any changes to orders and communicate via e-mail

· Generates all necessary documents per customer

· Communicates to all departments daily

· Other duties and projects as assigned by Quality/Customer Service Manager

Candidate Specifications and Requirements:

Education/Experience/Requirements:

· 2-3 years of verifiable work experience in an office setting

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Available to work overtime and weekends as needed

· Excellent attendance

· Previous customer service experience preferably in the moving and storage or transportation industry.

· Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Windows-based programs

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Superior communication and listening skills with customers and all levels in the organization

· Proficient business etiquette and manners.

· Good time management skills

· Creative problem-solver

· Ability to work independently and interact with the team

· High attention to detail and organizational skills are a must

· Ability to work in a high pressure, results oriented environment
